FUSL is managed by a team of skilled and experienced professionals led by Mr. Frank Onwu, a seasoned investment banker of more than 24 years standing.

Mr. Frank Onwu

Holds a Bsc. Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Michigan State University, USA. Mr. Onwu started his banking career with ICON Limited (Merchant Bankers) in 1981 where he rose to the position of Assistant General Manager in charge of Investment and Capital issues.
He has over 25 years experience in banking and finance with bras for investment banking. He was the Managing Director of First Ideas Limited between 1997 and 1998. Prior to joining Fidelity in 1999, Mr. Onwu worked as an Investment Officer with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank private sector arm. He was the pioneer Chairman of the Association of Issuing Houses of Nigeria (1993-1996) and served as a pioneer member of the Capital Market Committee of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stock brokers (ACS).

Mr. Godwin Umeh
Chief Operating Officer,

An authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange,is an Associate of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ACA) and the Chartered Institute of Stock brokers (ACS). He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Prior to joining Fidelity in 1996, he worked with Capital Bancorp Limited, a leading investment firm and Commercial Trust Bank Limited. Godwin has over 15 years corporate finance and financial advisory experience.
 

Mr. Chris Okenwa

Started his banking career with Continental Merchant Bank PIc and moved from there to Capital Bancorp Limited, a foremost investment banking firm. While in Capital Bancorp he was involved in the privatization of African Petroleum PIc. Prior to his joining Fidelity Union Securities Limited, Chris worked at Magnum Trust Bank PIc, where he was the Head of the Bank's Investment Banking Department. Mr. Okenwa is a dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Edo State University, Ekpoma. He has over 15 years experience in investment bankipg.

Mr. lreoba Nelson
Group Head Research/Asset Management.

He obtained his First Degree and Masters Degree from the University of Lagos. Mr Ireoba is a Chartered Stockbroker and an articled clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. He started his career with Rowet Capital Management Ltd where he rose to become the Head, Asset Management & Research. He later left for Investment Centre Ltd (a Subsidiary of Broad Bank) and was part of the team that conceptualized the firm's business model. He also played a pivotal role in obtaining a stock broking license for the firm. Additionally, he was ICL's pioneer stockbroker who headed the Capital Market Group which includes Research & Advisory, Corporate finance, and Asset management. In order to broaden the horizon of his experience and exposure, he later joined Greenwich Trust Ltd where he was greatly involved in the packaging of large ticket offers for banks and insurance companies; during banking and insurance consolidation exercise. Still on Greenwich, he handled a major public sector Advisory/brokerage deal involving asset sharing between Ekiti and Ondo state governments. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank PIc, he worked briefly with Diamond Bank Pension Custodians, where he was responsible for the Corporate Actions Desk. He is an associate member of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, as well as an associate of The Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (CPIN).
 

lkechukwu Duru

Joined Fidelity Union Securities Limited in 2006 as Stockbroker responsible for execution of clients' mandates and investment management. Formerly with ICMG Securities Limited as the Head of Investment Advisory services responsible for Project Finance and Capital Market Related Issues. Before joining ICMG Securities Limited, he was the Executive Consultant in Credit Alliance Fin. Ser. Limited in charge of Public Sector Consulting and Public Policy Analysis. In tbis capacity he worked in the team that provided policy analyses for various arms of government and international agencies. He had his professional training in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Finance in D. O. Dafinone and Company (Chartered Accountants) where he rose to become an Audit Senior. Ikechukwu Durn holds a Masters in Business Administration specializing in Finance, he also holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu. He was admitted as an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 1991, an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) in 2001. In 2003 he was admitted as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and in 2004, he was admitted as an Authorised Dealing Clerk on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). He has over 15(fifteen) years experience in Auditing, Accountancy, Financial Consulting, Strategy, Investments, Portfolio and Asset Management, Stockbroking and Public Sector Consulting.
